Sometimes you have to go backward to go forward. Over time, the original pretty turn-of-the-century camp had been dwarfed by subsequent “modern” additions. To get back to its essence it was necessary to remove those newer additions, keeping and updating the original camp, and adding back new in the style of the original to create a house that feels unified and timeless, like it has always been there.
