Stephen Selin was originally trained as a structural engineer at MIT and began his career in New York City designing high rise buildings and aircraft, then went on to earn his Master of Architecture degree at Carnegie Mellon University. He is a Registered Architect in VT, NY, NJ and PA, is a LEED Accredited Professional and is a Passivhaus Certified Designer.
Judith Selin began her career as a high school mathematics teacher after studying at the University of Colorado and Rutgers University. Later while home schooling their two children she developed her skills in art and design at Rhode Island School of Design and University of Vermont. In addition to designing buildings, she is a dedicated watercolor painter.
Selin + Selin Architecture was founded in 1999 and has become a nationally recognized architecture firm designing comfortable, inspiring, and environmentally sustainable buildings.
